Hey everyone,
There are four elders living
in our apartment, and one of them spent his childhood in Nurembourg,
Germany. He lived there while his dad taught English and German at a school.
It's pretty fun to talk to him about it, sounds like there are some pretty cool
sights over there. It will be so cool to see those things, esp. the WWII stuff.
I hear there's a lot of it.
We had a guy follow us
tracting for a block, acting like he was taking pictures with a camera phone,
just to make sure we weren't the Feds. It was pretty funny. We invited him to
come teaching with us, but told him he might be bored if he did. He lightened
up, but he sure doesn't like us very much. People like that are funny.
We
had an interesting week, we are trying a new area to tract in, and it didn't
work out too well. We had Stake Conference on Sunday, and it was pretty hard to
help people get there, but a couple we are working with right now are doing
really great. Just keep praying for them, (Sam and Anna) that they will
recognize the answers to their prayers. We are teaching some other people too,
but they aren't moving very swiftly. It really takes time for some people to
grow and progress. They are really sweet, and they are always moving forward and
improving their lives.
Philadelphia is just starting to warm up here, and
things are going great. I can't wait! It's been too cold lately for people to
even open their doors! Thank you so much for all your help, and I am so
grateful for all you guys do!
Love you,
Elder Wallentine
